Lead Software Engineering

Job Description:

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home)

DUTIES:

1. Participate in User Requirement workshops and decompose Business Features into Tech User Story.
2. Interact with client during the Sprint grooming, planning, Daily Scrum calls and demos.
3. Design, develop, document, and analyze the overall architecture of systems.
4. Highlight issues, risks, limitations for current and future deliverables.
5. Understand change requests raised by the client after development has started.
6. Design scalable systems per requirements considering overall traffic and load.
7. Analyze and design highly robust systems with stability, integrity, and CDN support.
8. Design APIs using microservices architecture.
9. Implement flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and workflows for APIs.
10. Document design specifications and setup instructions.
11. Develop User Interface and microservices, integrating third-party APIs.
12. Perform enhancements and fix bugs in existing code.
13. Follow code quality standards according to sonar quality checks.
14. Implement Mockito test cases for integration level sanity.
15. Review test cases to ensure Unit Test Plan covers all conditions.
16. Code deployment to environment using Jenkins, Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes.
17. Review test cases for all functional requirements.
18. Conduct demos for Testing Team to provide knowledge of new requirements.
19. Track status of all defects opened during test execution.
20. Prioritize, troubleshoot, and fix defects.
21. Monitor services deployed in environments and provide support for analyzing and troubleshooting issues.
22. Monitor application with Dynatrace, EFK, and Splunk.
23. Utilize ReactJs, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and related front-end technologies.
24. Use client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery and React).
25. Utilize NVDA activities for accessibility testing and web performance tuning.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation utilizing ReactJs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.

Salary: Our Lead Software Engineers earn between $149,781 - $231,100 yearly, along with other rewards that working at AT&T offers.
