Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesDesign & document new part designs and changes to existing parts according to internal and external requirementsWork with in-house clinical application experts to define & optimize transducer designsWork with process engineers to design & document manufacturing production fixturesCreate, edit and approve engineering changes, work instructions, and other documentation as requiredSupport transducer / part / process qualifications and V&V activitiesProvide both informal and formal communications to the management team on project statusPerform other related duties as requiredQualifications / RequirementsA Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience OR Associates Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experienceExpert skill with 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks (and/or Creo)Working knowledge of: Design for manufacturability of common production processes e.g. CNC machining, injection molding, 3D Printing; Engineering material properties & FEA software; Dimensioning & Tolerancing, including GD&T & tolerance stacks; Measuring equipment e.g. CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.; PLM & PDM systems such as Agile, Solidworks ePDM, etc.; Microsoft Office software; Statistical approaches to analyzing dataDesired CharacteristicsExperience in a FDA, ISO13485, or other highly regulated environment preferredAbility to work in an international and cross-functional team environmentEnergy and enthusiasm for each day’s effortAbility to generate written communication that is clear and concise and lead a discussion among colleagues as well as provide formal presentations to managementWe expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus, and drive ownership – always with unyielding integrity.Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities.
