Our federal client is looking to hire an ASP.NET/Java Developer, on a contract to hire basis, at their offices in Merrifield, VA 22082. This position will pay an hourly rate of $67HR (1099, dependent on experience) or $62.50/HR W2 or an annual W2 salary of $130K with PTO and benefits. This position will allow for remote work 2 days a week after an initial 1-month orientation period and can convert to a permanent employee after 6-months. Requirements
- Support existing Java/Eclipse/WebSphere application and convert to ASP.NET
- Perform software development, testing, and provide support in all phases of the software lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.

- Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL scripting, SLQ optimization) a bonus
- Windows experience
- UNIX/Linux experience (Shell scripting) a bonus
- Ability to perform analysis and design.
- In depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and concepts.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently or coordinate as part of a development team with other software engineers.
- Knowledge of computer data-structures and algorithms
- Software quality assurance experience
