We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer. You need to bring a wealth of experience in Salesforce architecture, development and integration, with an experience of delivering scalable solutions. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills and strategic thinking to lead the evolution of our Salesforce platform and enhance our business processes. This is a hybrid role in the San Francisco Bay Area, and you will report to Engineering Leader in Sales Domain.

Responsibilities
- You should be able to lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
- You will provide technical guidance and direction on Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and integration strategies.
- You will review and approve code to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- You will design & build scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements.
- You will develop custom applications and integrations using Salesforce technologies (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, etc.).
- You will create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and user guides.
- You will collaborate with product and project managers to define project scope and timelines.
- We need you to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- You should be able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- You are expected to work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- You are expected to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain technical concepts and project status.
- You will participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- We need you to be flexible to work with cross geo teams to accommodate project deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce declarative & code development, and architecture.
- Technical Leadership experience.
- You have strong proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Must have experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- You have strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- We need you to bring your experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular or Node.js.
- You have knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- You have knowledge of Salesforce data models, security, and performance tuning.
- You have familiarity with Data cloud, CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Salesforce Architect certification (preferred).
- You have a user-centric mindset.
- You have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Have knowledge of other CRM platforms and integration experience.
- Some familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.
- You should have an understanding of business processes in sales, marketing, and customer service.
