Cloud Software Developer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Developer to join our team supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining external interfaces in Python, as well as front-end development using React for creating user interfaces that integrate with AWS services. The position also involves creating backend AWS services using React, and providing onsite support for troubleshooting and system configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain external interfaces in Python
• Frontend development using React for creating user interfaces that integrate with AWS services
• Create backend AWS services using React

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in software development and cloud infrastructure
• Proficient in React programming, with hands-on project experience
• Understanding of AWS Cloud infrastructure
• Ability to be cleared by the US Government via a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior IRS experience
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Current MBI clearance to meet security requirements
• Familiarity with RedHat systems and version control using GitLab

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency
