Job Responsibilities

1. Provide direction on technology infrastructure planning and engineering for data center and cloud networks.
2. Lead strategy and architecture across data center and cloud network platforms.
3. Provide direction, leadership, and point of escalation for operational support while leveraging a managed services partner and colleagues for L2 and L3 support.
4. Manage a relationship with third party managed services partner.
5. Set priorities and goals.
6. Provide project management and technical leadership on medium to large sized projects to support new and existing technology architectures.
7. Provide Training and Knowledge Transfer to Engineering Support Teams as needed.
8. Develop or modify infrastructure solutions while offering guidance and mentorship to more junior team members.
9. Lead the implementation and maintenance of assigned enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure successful deployment and operation.
10. Develop and document detailed standards (e.g. guidelines, processes, procedures) for the introduction and maintenance of services.
11. Collaborate with technology partners to help define and understand target strategies.
12. Provide feedback and direction on specific engineering tasks.

Job Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Computer Technology, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Tech Manager, Engineering-related occupation.
