Associate Engineer

Job description

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ASME, GD&T, CAD certifications are a plus.
• English (read, written, spoken)
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and production techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities :

• Design and Development:
• Assist in the design and development of engineering projects, including CAD modeling, simulation, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to create specifications, drawings, and documentation for various components and systems.
• Manufacturing Support:
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Support the production team in troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Testing and Validation:
• Conduct tests on prototypes and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards.
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Project Management:
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to the engineering team and management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product development.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed documentation of design changes, testing results, and project updates.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning:
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Pursue additional certifications and training relevant to your field.
