Holder Construction is an ENR Top 30 Construction industry leader with operations throughout the United States. We are currently seeking highly motivated construction professionals to join our company in a BIM/ VDC Team, located in Burbank, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate problem solving using technology and collaboration with project teams, both internal and external
- Coordinate your workload for one or more projects with VDC Manager(s)
- Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues
- Understand and contribute to the VDC coordination schedule by tracking individual responsibilities and providing progress updates
- Identify and facilitate resolution of coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks
- Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings, seeing all items through to completion
- Use modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models
- Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope from others and confirm compliance with the contract documents
- Apply concepts from training sessions and lessons learned to facilitate project coordination
- Understand and implement VDC services in accordance with our standards and best practices
- Understand, and contribute as applicable to, VDC goals and company initiatives
- 0-4 years of of BIM/VDC experience working on commercial construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Willingness to relocate and travel
- Willingness to learn, grow, and further develop relevant professional skills
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and coordination tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and others as applicable
- Understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Understanding of the basics of the construction management process (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings).
- Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, willingness to relocate, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
