Director of Engineering

The Director of Engineering will lead and oversee the engineering department, responsible for infrastructure, product development, and application support. This role involves managing a team of engineers, driving technical innovation, and ensuring that all engineering projects are executed efficiently and meet business objectives. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, custom solutions while maintaining technical excellence and adhering to budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the engineering team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Oversee the entire engineering project lifecycle, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure all designs and systems align with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Manage department resources, including budgets, personnel, and tools, to optimize efficiency and meet operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and project management to align on technical requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong track record of managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and engineering processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
