CIVIL PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT ENGINEER (PE)

YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:

• Municipal, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Multi-Family, Residential and other industry civil a construction plans and calculations.
• Many times managing an overall project as the owner’s design representative including managing architecture, MEP, soils, traffic, and structural consultants for the successful completion of projects.
• Providing project management for multiple projects managing scope, budgets, resource allocation, and schedules including writing and obtaining approval of change orders.
• Providing direction and delegating work to JR staff.
• Reviewing multi-discipline projects for technical/dimensional accuracy and coordination.
• Attending meetings clients while representing the company in a tactful and professional manner.
• Attend networking and professional events at times on behalf of the company.
• Creating RFPs, RFQs, and solicitation responses for a multitude of projects.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED:

• 4-8+ years of Civil engineering experience designing buildings and/or bridges.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in US, CO PE license by comity required within 3 months.
• Ability to complete a construction plan set in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, provide assistance to JR Staff.
• Ability to manage an entire design and subconsultant team for projects.
• Versatile with computers, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software
• A thirst for industry knowledge and code research and application, detail oriented
• A bachelor’s degree with civil emphasis or a masters degree in engineering or architecture.
• Follow-through when provided direction by supervisor/clients, ability to present creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
