Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team to support our government clients. The Senior Systems Engineer will lead system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architectures. They will supply the development of customer systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents and assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of hardware, software, facility, and components.

Job Responsibilities- Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develops user documentation.
- Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
- Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and results associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
- Develop and perform technical presentations for customers
- Serve as technical resource at customer briefings
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- U.S. Citizen, NATO//SECRET; IAT Level II
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Ten years' experience crafting and implementing information management systems
- Three years of experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services.
- Demonstrated ability in the development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant, enterprise web-based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure sensitive data protection.
- Three years of experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial cloud services (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs)
- Knowledge of governance and establishing policies and procedures
- Ability to lead at a Platform level
- Hands-on experience with Agile System Development methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
- Proficient in the use of tools and methods to efficiently manage product releases, sprints, and development cycles.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $160,000-185,000.00.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
