EDC Corporation is currently seeking an application support engineer to join our growing development and customer support team. The chosen candidate will provide software application support, troubleshoot client issues, establish the root cause of application errors, and work closely with clients to communicate progress and resolutions.
This position will also provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow into our Junior Software Developer position, implementing new features and application enhancements.

Application Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Providing software application support for clients and senior development staff
- Providing detailed instructions and assistance to clients
- Assisting with system configurations
- Utilizing report designer tool to configure reports and letters for clients
- Troubleshooting and replicating application errors
- Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications
- Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance
Advanced Responsibilities:
- Ability to utilize development skills to implement bug fixes
- Ability to build and manage servers in AWS
- Knowledge and experience with relational databases
Application Support Engineer Requirements:
- A degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or similar or 1-2 years experience supporting applications
- Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to clients.
- Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors
- Exceptional communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
- $65,000 - $85,000 base salary, depending upon qualifications and experience
