Position: Site Civil Design Engineer

Location(s): Virginia Beach, VA OR Tysons Corner, VA

• Hybrid Work Environment: 3 Days Onsite; 2 Days Remote

Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Range: 63-85K

Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Hours 9am-3pm; 40 Hours/Week

Day-to-Day:

• Insight Global is seeking a motivated Site Civil Design Engineer to join an infrastructure team as a production focused contributor working on project based work for a large architectural and civil engineering firm. The ideal candidate is eager to grow both personally and professionally.
• As part of this team, you'll take ownership of portions of projects, demonstrate resourcefulness, and actively incorporate feedback.
• Your primary focus will be on CAD work, where attention to detail and ability to shift tasks as needed is crucial.
• The work is hybrid with onsite days being Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• ABET Accredited Civil Engineering Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in a professional engineering environment
• 1+ year(s) design for site / land development

Plusses:

• Civil3D design software experience
• Knowledge of stormwater / utilities / water waste
• Additional experience in the industry, and a desire to stay in the calculating and detail work side of production
• Experience in the Federal Sector
• Familiar with UFC's
• Possesses EIT Certification
