Job Summary:

The UX Designer will demonstrate versatility and agility by producing an array of design assets including layouts, app and web content, and interactive media.

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Apply a strong understanding of interactive best practices, including visual design, front-end development, usability, data flows, and information architecture, to initiatives.
  2. Lead interactive concept and design initiatives, including websites, landing pages, user interface, and more, to deliver on business goals.
  3. Create mindful and intuitive customer experiences.
  4. Work with cross-functional team members to create visual solutions that engage and inform.
  5. Define interaction models, user flows, and UI specifications.
  6. Communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to product and development teams.
  7. Interpret data and qualitative feedback to influence design and content effectiveness.
  8. Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
  9. Work closely with the product team to meet user needs and enhance interactive experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Experience with payment (i.e. commercial cards), fintech, or B2B services (required)
  2. Experience with Figma (required)
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Knowledge of wireframing tools such as Figma or equivalent
  5. Experience with the Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  6. Attention to detail and a user-centric mindset
  7. Understanding of interaction design principles
  8. Strong knowledge of wireframing and UI prototyping across all devices
  9. Strong knowledge of interactive design
  10. Experience building a design system
  11. Experience with HTML & CSS
  12. Experience with developing and animating SVGs

Education and Experience:

  1. You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  2. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  3. Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
  4. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
