Company Description

One of my favorite clients is hiring for a Senior or Mid Software Developer in Bethesda, MD. This person must be a citizen of the United States and possess a Secret Clearance. The application development is for a very interesting client and they are looking to bring this person on full time - immediately.

Software Developer
Location: Bethesda, MD
Compensation: MAX 120,000 DOE
Status: Full-time permanent

Specific Job Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and implement applications.
2. Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain application environments.
3. Research requirements.
4. Provide operations and inquiry support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree required. Candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred.
2. 4-10 years’ experience with application development.
3. Experience in Linux.
4. C++, Java, and/or Python experience.
5. Above average background in math and/or physics.
6. Intermediate knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
7. Ability to communicate complex technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Numerical modeling/simulation, real-time programming, and multiprocessor programming experience is desired.
9. Graphics experience is desired.
