Cloud Engineer - Web Developer

IT Hub is looking for Senior Web Developer (SME) for our long term project:

Required Skills:

1. Minimum 7 years of web development experience with a focus on technical leadership and architecture.

Tasks & Duties:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cloud Engineer/Web Developer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both cloud technologies and web development, with a focus on designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS.
2. Configure and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
3. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
4. Implement best practices for cloud resource management, cost optimization, and security compliance.
5. Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, etc.
6. Collaborate with design and product teams to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web applications.
7. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services to enhance application functionality.
8. Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
9. Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI) to streamline application delivery.
10. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
11. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions into cloud-based applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management and administration.
3. Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
4. Strong understanding of web development concepts and technologies.
5. Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express).
6. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
7. Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate).
2. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
4. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
