Established Jacksonville, Arkansas Manufacturer is seeking a Metal Stampiing Tool and Die Engineer to join their team.

Looking for an experienced Metal Stamping Tool and Die Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, maintaining, and improving metal stamping tools and dies.

Must have:

• a deep understanding of metal forming processes, tool and die design, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• a proven track record in the maintenance and troubleshooting of metal stamping tools.
• a strong background in tool engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in tool design with metal stamping tools.

• Extensive knowledge of tool and die design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Extensive hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of metal stamping tools.

• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., VISI, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational, documentation, and attention to detail abilities. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with project management as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• In-depth understanding of quality control standards and practices. Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC machining, wire EDM, and tool fabrication including traditional tool room equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.).

• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
