If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer II, Software Engineer to join our Tax Ignition Center.Responsibilities:Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates, as well as work closely with Tax business teams, clients, and various technology teams to ensure development of a quality product and a proven record of delivering business valueTake ownership and accountability of development process and the development team through the entire software lifecycle which includes Architecture, Design, Development, DevOps; perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned productsDefine and develop enterprise scale solutions leveraging programming technologies like Angular 14+, C#, Python, APIs with SQL/NoSQL as the database backend on the Microsoft Azure cloudDesign and development of solutions that integrate with vendor tools seamlessly utilizing APIs and other integrations using design patterns; prepare and review technical artifacts to help document technical architecture, design, and deployment diagramsMentor software developers by reviewing written code and enforcing organizational development standards; coach more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilitiesQualifications:Minimum eight years of recent experience in development, unit testing and troubleshooting of large applications with a minimum three years of experience in a technical lead function in Angular, C#, Python, SQLBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science is preferredAdvanced working experience of Microsoft Azure or other hyperscale clouds is requiredExperience in Build and Release AutomationStrong technical leadership and communication skills working with stakeholders and cross functional teams such as technical architects and security teams and othersKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
