Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Senior Developer for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Role: Senior Developer

Primary Skills: Java

Role Description: As a Senior Developer , you must have at least 8+ years of experience.

Required Skills:

1. BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. 5+ years of Agile cloud development experience required.
3. Healthcare Eligibility domain knowledge.
4. Must have excellent hands-on experience real time with Java/ J2EE framework (around 8+ years preferably) especially Spring, SpringBoot, AngularUI, DROOLS (rule engine) with Postgres database.
5. Must have experience with development and maintenance using GitHub and Jenkins.
6. Experience with unit testing and code coverage (SonarQube) frameworks. Java, Maven, and Junit experience required.
7. Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
8. Experience working with AWS ecosystem and related tools and technologies.

Technical Skillset:

1. Spring Rest, Spring Core, AWS Developer Tools, Java API for RESTful Web Services, Java/J2EE, Node.Js, FullStack- Java with Angular, Java Spring Framework, SoapUI (API/Webservice), SpringBoot, MIME, Spring MVC, PostgreSQL, AWS Kinesis, AWS S3, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Athena, AWS Lambda, WEB API.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges.

3. Demonstrate clear proficiency in architecture (web app, micro-services-based APIs, data stores) and designing solutions using modern, scalable and open-source solutions.
4. Demonstrate experience in explaining complex solutions in simple and intuitive manner to different stakeholders.
5. Be able to see big picture of an enterprise, connected systems, interfaces, downstream impacts when designing solutions.
6. Collaborate with multiple small teams to design, develop and deliver product features incremental and iterative manner.
7. Be a champion for modern application development practices and mentor team members towards them.
8. Believes in and is well conversant with various automated testing tools.
9. Someone who is a great team player and genuinely believes in solving challenges as a team.

13. Experience working with Healthcare data specifically Medicaid/Medicare is a huge plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
