Information Technology Engineering Manager

We are working with a growing Connecticut Managed Service Provider to hire a senior leader of the firm’s Engineering and Projects team. The successful Engineering Manager will lead a talented team of engineers across Cyber Security, Networking, Data Center, and Cloud services. You will set benchmarks for service delivery and the adoption of industry best practices whilst playing a pivotal role the execution of services focused security frameworks, network management, data center architecture and the firms growing cloud service offerings.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3 years+ experience managing a technical team, with the ability to coach and develop technical staff, whilst developing and streamlining work management processes
• Experience within an MSP environment is preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in Cybersecurity
• Technical expertise across: Cisco and Fortinet design and deployment experience, IPSec, SSL, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, Radius, and network security best practices
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, Office 365.

This role is will be on a hybrid basis, with the firm having a 3-day-a-week. We have a base salary of up to $140,000 available for this role.
