Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Define NAND device-related system algorithms.
2. Define and communicate NAND requirements to meet system specs.
3. Define ASIC requirements for upcoming NAND chips and design system algorithms.
4. Lead discussion of new NAND modes or new operation methods that can make differentiating products.
5. Work with Architecture and Firmware team on detailed implementation and verification plan.
6. Monitor NAND readiness and work with PE team on NAND testing and screening methods.
7. Work with the validation team on drive-level testing, debugging, failure analysis and qualification.
8. Prepare and present reports detailing the status of development.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

1. Masters/Bachelors in ECE, E&I, VLSI and other relevant course work.
2. Overall 3+ years of working experience with Masters.

PREFERRED:

1. Knowledge of programming in high-level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) is a plus.

SKILLS:

1. A clear understanding of technical and logistic challenges that must be met to deliver industry-leading products or consumer electronics platforms.
2. Ability to contribute in a multi-functional team to tackle sophisticated System/HW/FW integration challenges.
3. Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate excellent problem solving.
