Job Description
Creating 3D part and assembly models using fully parametric features.
- Creating product definition in the form of 2D cross sections, 2D drawings, and exportable CAD data formats.
- Assisting with product assembly tolerance stack-ups, design releasing, and design change authoring.
- Supporting analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, quality and inspection within expected cost, quality, and schedule.
- Working with engineering and supply chain partners to determine Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) required for proper clearances and fits while maximizing manufacturing producibility.
- Ensuring all interfaces between components are established and agreed upon by engineering design teams of mating parts and other sub-systems.
- Working within the guidelines of applicable local Policies & Procedures, Engineering Standards, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
Top three skills/duties that are must haves (clearly define qualifications and attributes that candidates must have to perform this job): Ability to create fully parameterized CAD models and the 2D drawings that describe them
“Nice to Have” skills (Additional desirable qualifications): Experience in aerospace component design and packaging
Educational Requirements:
Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 10 years of experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 15 years of experience in engineering, IT, scientific or other technical position.)

Hardware / Software Knowledge Needed: CAD software - Siemens NX and Product Data Management tool (PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter)
