CMT Project Engineer

UES is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction Materials Testing Department at our Houston location. As a CMT Project Engineer, you will be focused on the management and oversight of CMT projects, communicating with clients, and ensuring successful and timely project completion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project coordination and project management of construction materials testing (CMT) work
2. Responsible for managing CMT projects through their lifecycle
3. Prepare various CMT testing reports for clients
4. Analyze and review testing reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, and residential projects
5. Field inspections, such as foundation inspections, shallow foundations, slab-on-grade, post tension, earthwork, and reinforcing and structural steel inspection
6. Client consultation

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) for the State of Texas
2. Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Material Testing
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Valid Texas driver license
