User Experience (UX) Designer

Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday onsite.

Duration: 6 - 9 months

Job Description:

1. Looking for a senior resource with 10+ years of experience in B2C or B2B eCommerce experience is mandatory.
2. Experience working within a software-oriented product lifecycle (waterfall, agile, sprints, or any combination).
3. A portfolio that not only shows the work samples but provides a clear case study for each UX project.
4. Project examples should tell a combined story that explains their ability to conduct or participate in research, lead design, and conduct or participate in user testing.
5. Obtains context to frame the problem from end users, stakeholders, etc. to expose the opportunity.
6. Turn the opportunity into a solution concept through workshop facilitation and collaboration.
7. Prove or disprove the concept was validated by interviewing customers before any development.
8. Transform design concepts into detailed designs to support technical and functional requirements.
9. Work collaboratively with business, product management, creative marketing, and IT teams.
10. Test designs with end users to validate the flow of the experience and the usability of the interface.
11. Ability to transition digital assets to the development team by way of a design system with UI specifications.
12. Front-end development skills are a must.
13. Must have strong e-commerce experience.
14. Preferred working in a retail background.
