Our client is seeking a HVAC Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and experience in HVAC system design experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer (1-Year Contract)
Location: Richland, WA
Pay Range: $37.00-$79.00 Hourly DOE (See Requirements below)
What's the Job?
Level 1
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgement in making adaptations and modifications.
Participate in the design, development and modification of mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDP's), design standards and guides.
Prepares conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
Level 2
Evaluates small size project or assignment in support of a global business unitor staff group to include the preparation of original design layouts, details, drawings and specifications.
Design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDP's), design standard guides.
Prepare mechanical engineering reports for clients as required.
Completes mechanical documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
What's Needed?
Level 1
Requires a bachelors degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Level 2
Requires a bachelors degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Requires a Professional Engineers License (PE)
Experience in producing HVAC load calculations, ductwork design and equipment selection for nuclear HVAC systems.
Knowledge of ASME AG-1, ASHRAE, SMACNA standards, and experience with DOE Nuclear Cleaning handbook and guides.
Must have right to work in United States without need of Sponsorship.
