Description: NSI requires a Senior Electrical Engineer to support PMA 266 Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Adversary Fleet Support Team (FST) supporting the F-5N aircraft and engines (J-85). The Senior Aircraft Electrical Engineer will develop detailed solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems including assist maintenance in troubleshooting/repair of the rigging of aircraft control systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, pressurization systems. This position may include repair/troubleshooting of aircraft engines. Whether supporting aircraft systems or engine systems, the engineer will be responsible for reviewing current technical maintenance manuals for accuracy and submit appropriate "red-line" changes to correct any publication deficiencies. Must be able to present to management or team. Ensure repairs are compliant with approved naval aviation maintenance policies. Perform engineering investigations of failed aircraft components and systems. Provide disposition for obsolete aircraft system components. Determine criticality of aircraft system components by performing failure mode effects and criticality analysis. Review drawings/blueprints, give material estimates and time required for repairs. Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, develop, implement, test, and evaluate projects within the electrical engineering discipline. Limited travel may be required. This position will be a hybrid (remote and on-site) position at the FRCSE.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience supporting all electrical aspects of an end product, preferably aircraft.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
