About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned metal stamping manufacturer situated in the Southern Suburbs of Chicago. They primarily serve the automotive sector, with notable clients including Bosch, Tusco, and various local molders in the Chicagoland area. This position involves managing customer communications, addressing root cause and corrective actions, submitting Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation, and supporting internal audits for IATF certification.

Job Description

• Overseeing the entire PPAP process
• Preparing and conducting internal IATF 16949 audtis
• Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
• Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• PFMEAs

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
• Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards associated
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Experience with leading or assiting with internal audits
• Strong experience with PPAPs
• Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
• Experience with PFMEA
• GD&T Experience
