Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: Columbia, SC
Immediately hiring multiple Electrical Estimators to join a fast-growing industrial construction team in Columbia, SC. This position will contribute to new construction, expansion, repair, and maintenance projects across the Southeast region.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for a variety of projects using ProEst software.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary project information.
• Maintain and update a database of historical costs and current pricing for materials and labor.
• Review and assess bid proposals and make recommendations.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss estimating strategies and cost-saving opportunities.

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in using ProEst software for estimating projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
