My client, a fast growing technology company and a leading player in the ad-serving space, is looking for a Lead Python Engineer that can remain hands on while leading a team dedicated to designing reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a senior Python engineer who shows ability to lead a team and to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical users. Any experience with other object oriented languages such as Java and non-relational databases would be a big plus. If you have experience working on large scale applications and/or understand the principles of concurrent programming this job could be for you.
Responsibilities:
- 70% hands on development in Python on a high volume, low latency system
- 30% management tasks including having 4-5 direct reports
