Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Lead complex technology Cloud initiatives, including those that are companywide, with broad impact.
2. Act as a key contributor in automating the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
3. Make decisions in developing standards and best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions.
4. Design, optimize, and document the engineering aspects of the Cloud platform.
5. Lead and share understanding of industry best practices and how new technologies influence the Cloud technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
6. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions in Cloud for strategic business objectives and solving technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple parameters, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.
7. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
8. Build and enable Cloud infrastructure, automate the orchestration for GCP for Enterprise.
9. Work in a globally distributed team and provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.
10. Closely work with Product Team and vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations.
11. Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud-based systems.

Basic, Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum five years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
2. Minimum three years working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a proven track record of building complex infrastructure programmatically with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
3. Minimum two years of hands-on experience with IaC tools Terraform and GitHub.

Other Desired Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of GCP networking services, such as Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Virtual Private Network (VPN), Cloud Interconnect, Virtual Network (Vnet) and Cloud Load Balancing.
2. Knowledge and understanding of Cloud service offerings such as Data, Analytics, AI/ML on GCP.
3. Demonstrated experience on at least three of the following key services: Big Query, Composer, Vertex AI, Document AI, Agent Builder, DataProc, Data Catalog, Notebook.
4. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance standards.
5. Experience with scripting and automation tools for network provisioning and configuration.
6. Knowledge and understanding of Cloud service offerings on Security, Data Protection and Security policy implementations.
7. Basic understanding of Cloud computing concepts like landing zone and Blueprints.
8. Proficient on container-based solution services, have handled 2-3 large scale Kubernetes based infrastructure build out, provisioning of services in Azure or GCP.
9. Experience in scripting (Shell, Python).
10. Good understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing concepts (IP, DNS, Guardrails, Vnets) and exposure to database, cloud security, AD, authentication methods, RBAC.
11. Cloud certification on GCP.
12. Exposure to Cloud governance and logging/monitoring tools.
13. Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) principles.
14. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
15. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
16. Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
17. Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
