Job Title: MongoDB Database Administrator
Job Overview:
As a MongoDB Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MongoDB database systems. You will work with development teams to ensure optimal database performance, troubleshoot database issues, and develop database solutions. You will also be responsible for implementing security measures to safeguard the database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure MongoDB database systems
• Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform maintenance tasks
• Develop and implement database solutions to support business needs
• Create and maintain database documentation, including backup and recovery procedures
• Ensure database security and implement access controls
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal database design and performance
• Develop automation scripts for database tasks
• Stay up to date with the latest MongoDB releases and features
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a MongoDB database administrator or equivalent role
• Proficient in MongoDB installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with MongoDB query.
