Senior Network Security Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team in support of the Digital Modernization organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring firewall and load balancer security compliance and preventing exposure to cyber-attacks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize DOD STIGs, NIST, and NSA guidelines to support the Firewall and Load Balancer Assurance Program (FAP)
• Identify security issues, optimize rule-sets, and conduct regular security assessments
• Develop assessment reports and provide recommendations for firewall changes

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI
• 3+ years of Firewall experience within the DOD environment
• Certification satisfying DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 requirements
• Juniper, Cisco, or Palo Alto certification
