DUE TO GOVERNMENT CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS, CITIZENSHIP OR PERMANENT RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED
The Plant Engineer makes a direct contribution to achieve plant goals of increasing productivity, ensuring safety of equipment and manpower, reducing maintenance costs, increasing equipment availability, and improving asset reliability. This is accomplished by proper project planning, ensuring integrity of documentation, maintaining standards and technical discipline in maintenance activity, leading troubleshooting efforts for major maintenance issues, and providing a roadmap for maintenance, design and review of improvement projects, coordinating with other departments, and controlling the factors influencing the performance of assets.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong background in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatics, Control and Combustion System Design, upkeep and troubleshooting
- Basic Electrical Safety and overall machine troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- 2 Years Plant experience involving PLC and Combustion Components
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Projects, ACAD and Solidworks
- Knowledge of Archiving
Desired:
- Knowledge of CMMS-Emaint
- Experience in a Forge facility
- Knowledge and experience in electrical engineering/PLC controllers and programmable logic
- Knowledge of Furnace combustion control and experience with Eurothem-Review/Bridge/TUS
- Knowledge of Pyrometry/System Accuracy Tests and Temperature Uniformity Surveys
