React Developer

Capstone IT is partnering with a company that is recognized as a Best Place to Work in Kansas City to provide a React Developer. As a React Developer with this client, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge digital experiences. You will work collaboratively with our creative and marketing teams to develop, maintain, and optimize React-based web applications. This hybrid position offers a flexible work-life balance with three days of in-office collaboration and two days of remote work.

Responsibilities:

1. React Development: Design, develop, and maintain React-based web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
2. JavaScript Proficiency: Demonstrate strong knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax, functional programming concepts, and asynchronous programming.
3. State Management: Implement effective state management solutions using libraries like Redux or Context API.
4. API Integration: Integrate with backend APIs to fetch and manipulate data.
5. Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
6. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers, to deliver high-quality projects.

Qualifications:

1. Strong proficiency in React development, including component-based architecture and state management.
2. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem.
3. Experience with popular React libraries and tools (e.g., Redux, React Router, Webpack).
4. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser compatibility.
5. Experience with version control systems (Git).
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with TypeScript.
2. Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).
3. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
4. Experience with GraphQL or other API architectures.
