We are seeking a Trade Support Engineer for a mid-level position to support our Equity Derivatives and Commodities Futures Trading desk. This role involves providing daily trade support and closely collaborating with traders on executing and managing complex derivative products.

Description
Provide daily trade support for the Equities Derivatives and Commodities trading desk, collaborating closely with traders on executing and managing complex derivative products.
Troubleshoot support issues actively, resolving problems for the trading desk and managing communications regarding platform issues and their resolutions.
Ensure accurate trade capture, event processing, and representation of positions, profit and loss, and risk exposures within risk management systems.
Liaise with global Tech and Operations teams on strategic initiatives, contributing expertise across products and systems, testing new technology rollouts, and driving enhancements to existing processes.
This role requires a background in supporting Trading Applications. Candidates applying must have exposure to that background. Expertise with Murex is a huge plus!
Profile
Proficient in Murex and SQL, with a solid understanding of database modeling and ETL applications.
Strong analytical background, including applied math, probability, and statistics, with at least 2-4 years of experience developing solutions for Equity Derivatives and Commodities.
Experienced in utilizing risk management systems to identify and resolve booking errors and technology issues, supporting trade bookings and front-to-back flows.
Excellent multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing and making quick decisions while managing ongoing issues in a high-pressure trading environment.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences, and familiar with tools like JIRA for issue and project tracking.
