Senior Electrical Design Engineer

My client is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to be responsible for the end-to-end development of electronic products, ranging from simple hardware solutions to complex embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electronics-focused projects, guiding the team through all development phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and design strategies that balance cost, performance, and resource needs.
• Design schematics and PCBA layouts based on detailed product specifications.
• Oversee initial hardware bring-up, debugging, and design verification testing.
• Define and document production testing to ensure manufacturing quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and enhance departmental design processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics design and development.

Desirable Skills:

• Proven experience in electronic product development, from circuit design to PCBA layout.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital components, regulatory standards (ISO, UL, IEC), and DFM/DFT practices.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and interface with clients.
• Ability to work independently on design tasks with minimal supervision.
