Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.This role will support state-of-the-art ultra-wideband phased array antennas, individual antennas, and Low Observable (LO) antennas within the Company. This position requires some job duties to be performed onsite due to the sensitive nature of this work and the desire for in-person collaboration, however we offer flexible in-office hours and the ability to perform some job duties remotely.What You Will DoYou will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems involving antenna/AESA-based applications such as radar, electronic warfare, electronic attack, electronic support measures, communications, geolocation, direction finding, etc.Use computational electromagnetic analysis software to design and predict performance of various types of antennas and apertures (spiral, sinuous, Vivaldi, patch, slot, horn, ultra-wideband tightly coupled dipole arrays, etc.)Analyze simulation or test data to verify performance to requirements.Participate in the testing of RF hardware for required performance metrics: VSWR, insertion loss, gain, polarization, radar cross section (RCS), etcSupport internal and customer research and development programs, design and simulation of antennas, arrays or RF components/systemsTravel Requirements: less than 10% annuallyShift Information: 1st shiftQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, EngineeringA minimum of two (2) years of relevant RF engineering experience with any combination of the following:Design, fabrication, and test of conformal antennas, apertures, and passive RF components (radiating elements, radomes, power dividers, couplers, transitions, multi-layer board designs, Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSSs), etc.).Experience designing, fabricating, and testing ultra-wideband phased array antennas such as Tightly Couple Dipole Arrays (TCDA), Vivaldi, Sliced Notch, Planar Ultra-wideband Modular Arrays (PUMA).EM modeling & simulation tools: HFSS, CST, FEKO or SENTRiActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
