Description

Profile Description: We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Java Fullstack Developer with multi-tiered Java EE-style applications & understanding of Front-End technologies. The candidate will work as part of an Agile squad and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management and infrastructure teams to deliver the objectives.

Qualifications

What you’ll do in the role:

  1. Hands-on development using Java and related technologies, design and development of scalable resilient financial systems, produce high quality maintainable code while enforcing development best practices.
  2. Collaborate with other team members through peer programming and code reviews.
  3. Work in Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
  4. Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies.
  5. Take ownership of code components from analysis to development to unit testing as well as production support.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  1. At least 2 years’ relevant experience is generally expected to find the skills required for this role.
  2. Core Java, Java EE, Spring (core, aspect, boot, batch), Web Services (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP), Relational databases (SQL server, DB2).
  3. Understanding of non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability).
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  5. Working experience of Agile development methodologies and of DevOps integration.
  6. Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development environment.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
