Security Engineer with Security Clearance

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Security Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the security of multiple applications.
2. Produce incident response and recovery plans.
3. Knowledgeable in Cyber resiliency, planning, web application and platform security testing.
4. Design monitoring and alerting capabilities for anomalous activity in multiple systems.
5. Monitor platform and application for anomalous activity in systems.
6. Understand application critical data and vulnerability points.
7. Coordinate with industry partners to advise the government on security vulnerabilities and recommendations.
8. Correlate data to help detect, remediate, monitor, and provide feedback for changes.
9. Experience with cloud technology.
10. Responsible for the operations of secure cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software.
11. Install, maintain, and upgrade the organization's cloud computing environments and core infrastructure.
12. Develop, build, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve cloud networks and cloud-based systems in accordance with defense-in-depth security governance policies and guidelines.
13. Manage the communication security (COMSEC) resources of an organization (CNSSI 4009) or key custodian for a crypto key management system (CKMS).
14. Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of the organization's website and transactions across the Internet including the protection of confidential order information and external business-to-business connections.
15. Apply Internet firewall and encryption technologies to maintain organizational and customer security.
16. Update and delete users, monitor, and perform follow-up compliance violations, and develop security policies and practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Senior: 8 years experience
• Travel: 10%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work.
• Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree, 4 additional years of experience.
