Our teams develop the strategic vision of our products, run outstanding multi-channel campaigns, build global engagement across all touch points, develop global insights, and propel sales and global publishing.

You will report into a Senior Software Engineer.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will work with engineers and designers to develop and debug behaviors for pedestrians and vehicles in the game.
  • You will develop core AI and gameplay features, components, systems and tools.
  • This is a paid internship.

Qualifications:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree granting program in a related field.
  • You understand computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures and object-oriented design.
  • You have experience with C++ and C#.
  • You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2025.

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2025, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2025. You must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $28 - $48 USD Hourly
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $28 - $48 USD Hourly
  • Jersey City, NJ: $28 - $48 USD Hourly
  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $25 - $30 USD Hourly
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $28 - $40 USD Hourly

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
