AGT is looking for a hands-on and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team in our Fort Lauderdale location. With the opportunity to drive the development and productivity of the business, this role is perfect for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, and is able to manage their time with little direction while staying focused on top priorities. You must be a self-starter who is driven, sales-oriented, and is able to foster professional relationships with both peers and clients.The Electrical Estimator is responsible for estimating and pricing of electrical systems on large scale solar projects including conceptual layout for estimating purposes of AC power systems, medium voltage transmission, utility intercepts, and building shutdowns, and ensures that a wide variety of electrical contracts are successfully completed on time and on budget. The electrical estimator is also responsible for conceptual coordination with the engineering and operations team for code and constructability compliance and database management in the Accubid software.Company SummaryAdvanced Green Technologies, established in 1983, is the largest commercial and industrial (CandI) solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor in Florida, and one of the largest in the Southeast United States.
