We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Project Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing complex construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and supervision of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and who is committed to delivering excellence in every project.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to plan and develop project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring they adhere to plans and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and plan layouts.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring they understand and adhere to their contractual obligations.
• Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure construction activities align with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team on petroleum, industrial, and commercial construction projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in petroleum, industrial, and commercial construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent understanding of construction safety regulations and building codes.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proven experience in project coordination, budget management, and cost control.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in procurement and subcontracting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
• Must be willing to travel to various job sites as required.
