Our Challenge:
As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and React.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on Java and React.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Strong experience with React, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux), and component lifecycle.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
