Proficiency in ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Ability to design and implement data warehouse models, including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimension hierarchies for optimized data retrieval and analysis.
Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting to automate ETL processes and manage data manipulation tasks.
At least 3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) working with SQL database architecture, including data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization.
3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) working with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, with familiarity in services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) in designing and developing data warehouses using platforms like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) working with big data technologies, including Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka.
3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) using data visualization tools like Power BI to create meaningful visualizations and reports from data stored in Synapse Data Warehouse.
3 years of experience (within the past 4 years) applying data cleansing, data profiling, and data validation techniques to maintain high data integrity within the data warehouse.
