Oracle Principal AI Developer - ACS Business Process - Juneau, Alaska

We’re looking for a Lead Developer within the Customer Success Org with AI (Artificial Intelligence) focus to join our Customer Success Operations team. You will become a specialist in our business domain and take the time to deeply understand our internal Customer Success AI goals. This role is for someone who wants to help design the architecture of new and integrated AI functionality within the Customer Success organization as well as drive and discuss clean software design. You care about quality as well as clean code, code reviews, and can understand the business need of key stakeholders within the Customer Success Organization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field.
2. 6+ years of overall experience as a Software Developer.
3. 2+ years experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
4. 1-2 years experience solutioning/developing of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions/integrations.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization internally and with customer executives.
6. Experience in building and designing applications using Gen AI technologies & RAG.
7. Familiarity with prompt engineering and other techniques to enhance language model accuracy.
8. Excellent knowledge of multiple programming languages such as Java, Perl or Python and Scripting such as Shell or Bash.
9. Experience with NetSuite product desired.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to abstract functional requirements.
11. Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and planning tools, such as Jira.
12. Intimate understanding of modern web applications and extensive experience with database-driven applications.
13. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and function in a multi-dimensional environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Be a lead in Architect and develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) complex features and integrations in close collaboration with other senior technical leaders in the team and business stakeholders.
2. Guide and aid less senior developers in their development tasks.
3. Utilize the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), GenAI, RAG, Cohere systems available to you to meet development goals.
4. Develop new tools as well as refine our existing tools to utilize new AI features/functionality.
5. Utilize prompt engineering techniques to improve the accuracy and performance of language models.
6. Automate the testing and deployment processes of language models to production environments.
7. Analyze complex requirements, collaborating closely with your technical product managers and other stakeholders.
8. Define our work plan in our collaborative Agile planning tool (Jira).
9. Contribute to the implementation and testing phase, personally and/or collaboratively with developers.
10. Author and/or review technical documentation for new features, collaborating with Technical Writers.
11. Perform other design, development tasks as required.
