I’m working with the North American operations of a global automotive component manufacturer who are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join their growing Smart Factory function as they look to scale across North America.
The Manufacturing Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing onsite support for the organizations MES platform and related Smart Factory systems as well as providing technical consultation for new implementations across new locations. You will be supporting the wider Smart Factory function with onsite systems expertise, back-end data analysis and systems maintenance.
Key skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience implementing, supporting and maintaining MES systems in a Manufacturing environment as well as other associated information systems
- Experience working within the automotive space is preferred
- Factory floor experience is crucial, with an understanding of general manufacturing processes and machinery/equipment operations
- Software development background
This role will be working onsite in Hopkinsville, KY with occasional travel to other company sites across the US.
