Who we’re looking for:
As the Lead Developer at Juris Digital, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our development team while shaping the technical vision of our projects. With your creativity and innovative thinking, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to craft dynamic, responsive, and user-centric websites and digital solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the entire development lifecycle—from strategic planning and coding to seamless deployment, SEO practices and ongoing maintenance—ensuring that every deliverable is on time, within budget, and meets the highest standards of excellence.
What you will do:
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor the development team in creating and maintaining high-performance websites and digital applications, with a primary focus on law firms. Inspire innovative thinking and creative problem-solving within the team.
- SEO Knowledge: Apply a strong understanding of SEO principles to ensure that all developed websites are optimized for search engines, enhancing visibility and driving organic traffic.
- Project Management: Manage the technical aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and quality standards are consistently upheld.
- Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality, enforce security standards, and ensure adherence to best practices across all projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, copywriters, and designers to understand client goals and translate them into effective and innovative visual and technical solutions.
- Technology Stack: Define, implement, and optimize the technology stack for various projects, prioritizing scalability, performance, security, and adaptability to emerging technologies.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their technical requirements, provide expert advice, and translate their needs into actionable development plans that reflect creative and innovative solutions.

Our ideal candidate will be or have:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior development role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js), PHP, MySQL, and familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Webflow. Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and deployment pipelines is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a development team, with strong project management and team collaboration skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Legal Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the legal industry or experience working on projects for law firms is a plus but not required.
