This position provides software development services by producing superior quality software using well-defined approaches to software problem-solving and software development best practices.

This position works with engineering peers, Technical Leads, Architects, and other Stakeholders translating product vision into overall satisfying and innovative solutions.

Required Experience:

1. Expert in Linux and related technologies.
2. Experience with Maven and Git is desirable.
3. 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
4. Agile experience with Scrum and/or Kanban, BDD, and TDD.
5. Excellent programming skills in Java as well as background in Spring MVC / Spring Boot.
6. Develop superior performing software by studying needs; conferring with end-users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following best practices.
7. Equally comfortable working with Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
8. Experience with design and develop features to add to and improve existing applications and products.
9. Be able to show with certainty that the software meets product requirements.
10. Verify fixes and code changes with unit tests and within overall releases.
11. A demonstrable and sincere passion for solving complex problems and business challenges.
12. Commitment to Agile and SCRUM Methodologies and Process.
13. Expertise with SQL and popular RDBMS databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgresSQL. Hibernate background would be a plus.
14. Expert in Web-based technologies.
15. Background in the Healthcare domain, including Meaningful Use, HL7, and HIPAA.
16. Experience with load and stress testing on Client/Server, Web, and Desktop applications.
17. Extensive experience in the automation of tasks.
18. Prepare and highly test solutions by determining and designing system workflows, configurations, and integrations.
19. Improve software operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes.
20. Proactive mindset, anticipating before problems and challenges appear.
21. An ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
22. A demonstrable ability to work quickly while maintaining quality.
23. A demonstrable ability to show continuous improvement in abilities, quantity of output, and quality of deliverables.
24. Strong experience setting expectations and not being satisfied unless they are exceeded.

Education Required:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
