Global e-commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. Global e-commerce central platform team is a global team responsible for developing the fundamental product platforms and providing the overall technical solutions that power all of the global e-commerce business scenarios, including business globalization and the diversity in different industries. We are committed to providing high-quality, high-extensibility and high-stability capabilities, ranging from the product center, to the check out/transaction/payment center, and then fulfillment/after-sales support.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for designing, implementing and delivering high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfillment, after-sales etc.
2. Responsible for continuously improving the stability, scalability and quality of the existing services and architecture of central product systems.
3. Responsible for the investigation and implementation of new technologies related to e-commerce business.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
2. 2+ years experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.
3. Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style.
4. Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design.
5. Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems.
6. In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.
7. Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products is preferred.
8. Excellent communication skills.

Job Information:

For Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110000 - $205000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
