Description
We are seeking a Senior Substation Civil Engineer to work on a variety of electric utility projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of outstanding professionals and apply the latest technology to solve challenging problems. Responsibilities include design reviews, developing junior staff, and contributing to bids and proposals. Site visits, travel for client meetings and industry events may be required. We are looking for someone with 4+ years of civil-site design experience, a P.E. license is preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and/or MicroStation OpenSite Designer software is needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Apply today!
- Land development permitting
- Researching site data
- Designing site layout, grading, and drainage
- Stormwater modeling and design
- Documenting supporting calculations
- Quantity take-offs and construction drawings
- Coordination with other design disciplines
Required Experience & Education:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of civil-site design experience
- P.E. license preferred
- Proficiency with design software
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel, up to 25%
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
